Introduction

To help you enjoy your stay at The Cottage, please take a few moments to read through these notes about our facilities and local information.

Our philosophy is ‘luxury hotel standards in a home from home’ and that’s exactly what we hope to provide to you during your stay with us. We thought you might find the following information useful so you’ll know what’s included in your booking.

Cleanliness

Collette, our wonderful housekeeper, comes in after each visitor has left to change the beds, launder the towels and bathrobes and give The Cottage a thorough clean. We have a checklist that ensures attention to even the smallest detail such as the seals on the fridges. Collette makes sure all the little touches we like are in place before you arrive.

Daily Housekeeping Service

We now offer a subsidised daily ‘Housekeeping Service’. The cost is £6.00 per night plus VAT and it really does help our guests to spend a little more quality time together. Just select ‘Housekeeping’ when you book, or email us, if you want it added to any current booking.

Health and Safety

We take this very seriously and you’ll find in the Welcome Book in the In-House Tourist Information details of all the safety checks and routine maintenance we undertake which is beyond a level that current regulations require.
